Silverstein began playing together in 1985. The drummer was heavily influenced by his dad's love for music. Silverstein started performing at the local club Nina's. The group used to sell their tapes out of their truck at the local music store.

Silverstein's newest album is a refinement of their established sound. The group just completed their newest release, and they are already planning the next release.

The years of paying their dues paid off when Silverstein signed a record deal. The band's members all had odd jobs while they waited for their time to come. Now the band play in plays in sold out arenas across the continent.

Silverstein realized they made it in 1997, as soon as Pam Felson started the band’s first fan club. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand across the nation.
