Sinbad wanted to be a comedian as far back as he can remember. He was forced to perform by his best friend. He left the audience laughing his first time on stage and sought out every opportunity to perform soon after. Sinbad’s first time on stage was at the age of 15.

After the tour for the newest project is finished, he plans to look for new material. Sinbad's latest project is his recollection of his time growing up poor.

Sinbad’s plate was almost too full after the success of his first comedy CD. He had to balance promotional tours of the album and shooting for movies. Sinbad was discovered while opening at City, a comedy club, after he had the entire crowd roaring in laughter and he blew away the headliner. He reached primetime and began headlining afterward.
