Sugarland formed in 2003 with Jennifer Nettles as the lead singer and Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall as guitarists and backup singers. All three members of the group had been part of the folk scene in Atlanta since the ‘90s when the Indigo Girls were playing in the city. The three eventually found each other and began at Eddie’s Attic, a popular small music venue in Decatur, Georgia.

Hall eventually left the group to pursue a solo career, but not before the three recorded and released Twice the Speed of Light in October 2004. The album rose to number three on the country charts and sold double platinum thanks to songs like “Bay Girl”, Something More”, and “Just Might (Make Me Believe)”. The trio got to perform with Bon Jovi, Brad Paisley, and Kenny Chesney before Hall left.

The album was nominated for Best New Artist by the Grammy’s and the group, now a duo, moved on without the intention to replace their third member. In 2006, the duo’s first release was Enjoy the Ride. Sugarland again created a hit, as the album went to number two on the country charts and number four on the Billboard U.S. 200. The album produced two number one hit singles, “Want To” and Settlin”

Sugarland began recording their third album in February 2008. The album will be called Love on the Inside and will promote it with the “Love on the Inside Tour” beginning on September 13, 2008 in Asheville, North Carolina. The album will be released on July 22 and tickets for the highly anticipated tour will be available on The Seats as soon as they go on sale. The Seats will have a large inventory of the tickets at affordable prices for the entire tour as it goes deep into November where it will end in Bossier City on the 22nd.
