Super Diamond Tickets
The members of Super Diamond were friends in middle school. The group was influenced by the British invasion. Super Diamond began playing at Residence, a college bar. The bassist used to listen to his uncle's tape constantly as a kid.
After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Super Diamond was signed to a record deal. The band plays almost every night of the week as the they tour America.
Super Diamond knew that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true after Susan Van Hoos started a fan club for the band in 1989. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around Pittsburgh, but the creation the band’s website by Kim Wolbert, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.
Super Diamond plans to spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the group members to pursue individual projects. The band is in the middle of the accompanying tour for their most current release. Super Diamond's most current release is the group's ninth project.
The group has a love affair with Concord so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring. Super Diamond will mix songs from the newest project with hits from its older record.
