Switchfoot Tickets
The members of Switchfoot met in 1994. The bassist first found his love of music by listening to his father's music collection. The bassist used to fall asleep with the radioplaying as a teenager. Switchfoot began playing at the college bar X-ray. The band used to practice at the lead singer's house.
Switchfoot met with a local DJ from B94.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. The group members were happy once they were signed and quit their odd jobs that had supported them while they worked toward their dreams.
The new album from Switchfoot took just two months to create. The band is in the midst of the accompanying tour for their latest release. After this past busy year the members of Switchfoot will spend some time apart.
