The members of Tainted Love met in 1993. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his music teacher. Tainted Love started playing at Cafeteria, a local bar. The group used to sell their records out of their car on the street.

Tainted Love were unsure about their music careers with the release of their first single, and were relieved after their music began climbing the charts ad getting lots of play on the radio. The group is now a huge draw wherever they go.

Tainted Love accepted they had finally made it in 1999, as soon as the band's first fan club was started by Ruth Abbey. While the club started out small after the organizer heard the band play at a small club in Orlando, the club grew leaps and bounds after the group’s first national tour.

The band may have just completed their latest release, but they are already thinking of their next move. Tainted Love's latest release is the band's tenth album.
