The members of Tamburitzans grew up together. One of the group's members used to fall asleep with the radio playing as a teenager. Tamburitzans began performing at the local dive bar Zeal. Earth, Wind, and Fire heavily influenced the early work of the band.

Tamburitzans's newest project has taken the group in a brand new direction, using more instruments than ever before. The group is in the midst of the promotional tour for their most current record. Tamburitzans hope to team up with other artists while they are on this tour.

Tamburitzans was discovered after single was played on K99.1. The band's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time. Even after getting the record deal Tamburitzans were not sure if they would make it in the end. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller clubs in which they began.
