Tanghetto started playing at Beach, a local dive bar. The Beach Boys heavily influenced the early work of the group. The members of Tanghetto were friends in college. The drummer used to listen to his uncle's music constantly as a kid.
Tanghetto hope to collaborate with other artists while they are on tour. The band is in the middle of the accompanying tour for their most current release. The new project is 's first project since the band broke up three years ago.
Generally, critics praise Tanghetto for their ability to connect with the crowd when they perform live. A music critic from Omaha, Isiah Smith, has always praised group’s tremendous bassist. Tanghetto’s most current album has received inspiring reviews from all the critics, including Harold Richardson from St. Louis and Ralph Moran from Los Angeles.
Tanghetto met with a local DJ from X94.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group plays almost every night of the week as the they tour the continent.
