The Avett Brothers Tickets
The Avett Brothers began playing together in 1991. The group used to sell their CDs out of their van at the local record store. The Avett Brothers started singing at Diva, a college club. The drummer was influenced by his sister's love of music.
The new project from The Avett Brothers is the group's fifth album.
The group has just completed their most current release, but they are already planning their next move.
After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, The Avett Brothers knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller clubs in which they began. The Avett Brothers was offered a record contract after their single was heard on B93.1. The bandwas headlining shows soon after they started playing live.
The Avett Brothers accepted that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a real possibility as soon as the band’s first fan club was started by Patricia Ernst in 1987. After the group’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Washington, D.C. to the thousands who heard them play all across the country.
Louisville has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the band schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring. The Avett Brothers will mix songs from the most current album with hits from its past project.
