The Hives

The Hives Tickets

The Hives showed the world Swedes could rock just as the century turned and garage rock made a huge comeback to supplant the pop princes and the boy bands. The group is as well known for their matching black and white suits, but is equally known and celebrated for their quick-hitting, guitar heavy songs.

The Hives owe their existence to mystery man Randy Fitzsimmons. Whether or not the man who has been credited with writing the lyrics actually exists is unknown, but the popular story behind the formation of the Hives has Fitzsimmons sending letters to Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist, Nicholaus Arson, Vigilante Carlstroem, Dr. Matt Destruction, and Chris Dangerous in 1993 telling when and where to meet. He decided they should start a garage rock band.

Publicity stunt or not the group came out of the 20th century with the hit album Veni Vidi Vicious and emerged onto the American rock scene with force and matching outfits. The Hives followed the breakout hit with Your Favourite Band in 2001. The group had difficulty maintaining the success of Veni Vidi Vicious, but found continued success in the UK.

The band has continued to tour behind the albums Tyrannosaurus Hives (2004) and The Black and White Album (2007). The Hives will be touring with the Eagles of Death Medal in September and the Seats will tickets to the concerts on the tour. The incredible selection of seats will make seeing the Hives perform easy and the low prices make the Seats the cheapest option for seats to see the band play on their tour schedule.
