The Movement Tickets
The Movement started performing at Grange, a local dive bar. The lead singer was heavily influenced by his sibling's love for music. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his brother's record collection. The Movement’s members met in high school. The band used to sell their tapes out of their car on campus.
The Movement’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going platinum. The band's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time.
The Movement accepted that they were truly working musicians when the band’s first fan club was started in 1997 by Carol Vanderhoff. Starting out in Chicago with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the country in under a year.
