The Movement

The Movement Tickets

The Movement started performing at Grange, a local dive bar. The lead singer was heavily influenced by his sibling's love for music. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his brother's record collection. The Movement’s members met in high school. The band used to sell their tapes out of their car on campus.

The Movement’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going platinum. The band's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time.

The Movement accepted that they were truly working musicians when the band’s first fan club was started in 1997 by Carol Vanderhoff. Starting out in Chicago with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the country in under a year.

The Movement hope to team up with other artists while they are on tour. The band is in the first leg of the accompanying tour for their newest release. The Movement's latest release is a refinement of their critically-acclaimed sound.

Generally, critics have praised The Movement for their ability to energize the crowd at live shows. A music critic from New York, Chris Phillippe, has always commended band’s immensely talented guitarist. The Movement’s latest album has received positive reviews from notable music critics like Oliver Greczkowski and Wally Ellenwood.

The group has a love affair with Sacramento so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring. The Movement’s tickets for their latest tour are available on TheSeats.com, along with the complete concert schedule and seating charts.
