The Omega Moos’s members were friends in middle school. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in high school. The lead singer was influenced by his family's love of music. The Omega Moos started performing at the college club Ace. The group used to sell their CDs out of their truck on the street.
submitted their single to X96.5 and a DJ took a liking to it. The bandstarted headlining shows as soon as they started playing together. The Omega Moos were uneasy after releasing the first album, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. Now the band headlines shows across North America.
The Omega Moos knew that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true in 1991, as soon as the band's first fan club was started by Cynthia Scheutz. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Betty Easley created a website for the band and a national tour gave the group plenty of exposure.
The group is in the beginning of the tour promoting for their new project. The Omega Moos's most current album has taken the band in a brand new direction, with a bigger sound.
The band is sure to schedule a concert at Assistant in Houston every time they tour because they used to play there all the time before they made it big.
