The Used Tickets
The Used began playing together while they were in grade school. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his sister. The Used started performing at Sermon, a local dive bar. The band begged the local radio station to play their early songs.
The Used talked to a DJ from X99.5 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after The Used was signed. The Used accepted that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act after Deb Quinn started the first fan club for the group in 1998. After starting out with a handful of members in Seattle, the club took off exponentially, growing to over two thousand in just a few months.
