Thunder began performing at Outfit, a college dive bar. One of the group's members used to listen to his aunt's record collection constantly as a kid. Thunder began playing together in 2000. The band used to sell their records out of their truck at local shows.

After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, Thunder knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder. The band group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.

The most current record from Thunder is a refinement of their familiar sound. The group is in the start of the accompanying tour for their newest record. After this past non-stop year the members of Thunder will take a break to recharge after a long year.
