Ud Chorale started performing at Nugget, a college bar. The guitarist discovered his love of music while listening to his aunt's music collection. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his brother's music collection. Ud Chorale’s members grew up together. The group used to practice at the drummer's house.
After getting the record deal, Ud Chorale were sure they would make it. Ud Chorale talked to a music director from Q94.1 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Ud Chorale was signed.
Ud Chorale realized that they were truly working musicians after Martha Scheutz started a fan club for the band in 1979. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around San Antonio. After the group’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
Ud Chorale's most current record is the band's first since the group members went to work on independent projects eight years ago. The group is in the second leg of the accompanying tour for their new release. Ud Chorale's members are expecting to bring in a whole new group of fans with this tour and the newest release.
