Uhf’s members met in college. The lead singer was encouraged to play by his mother. The guitarist used to fall asleep with a cassette tapeplaying as a teenager. Uhf began playing at Eyewitness, a local club. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck at the local record store.

The band has just completed their most current album, but they are thinking of what is to come next. The new record from Uhf is a refinement of their established sound.

Uhf’s newest project has received positive reviews from Ray Wolbert, a music critic out of Houston, and Cypher Abbey, from Ann Arbor.

Even after getting the record deal Uhf were not sure if they would make it in the end. The bandplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning.
