Ultravox’s members were friends in grade school. The guitarist used to listen to his dad's record constantly as a teenager. Ultravox started performing at Allure, a local dive bar. The group kept requesting that the local radio station to play their tracks.

Ultravox plans to take some time off after the tour, allowing the band members to work on side projects. The group just finished their latest release, but they are already planning the next release. Ultravox's most current project is the group's first release since the band broke up six years ago.

Ultravox were sure that they would make it after signing the record deal. They had heard stories of others still failing, but were sure they would be one of those bands.
