Undercurrent Tickets
The members of Undercurrent met in 1992. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in college. The bassist wanted to start a band since he was in middle school. Undercurrent started singing at City, a local dive bar. The band kept asking the local radio station to play their early songs.
Undercurrent were sure that they would make it after signing the record deal. They had heard stories of others still failing, but were sure they would be one of those bands. The band now headlines shows across North America. Undercurrent was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on K93.1. The band's members all had odd jobs while they waited for their time to come.
Undercurrent finally knew they made it when Rebecca Fleetwood started a fan club for the band in 1984. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Charleston, the fan club quickly grew with band’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Kim Zadra.
Undercurrent intends to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the band members to rest after a long year. The band is in the start of the accompanying tour for their most current record.
Generally, critics have commended Undercurrent for their ability to connect with the crowd at concerts. San Antonio music critic Erik Urich has always commended band’s great bassist. Undercurrent’s latest album has received inspiring praise from all the critics, including Flint Emerson, who first saw the group play in Sacramento.
