The members of Union Station met in high school. The lead singer wanted to start a band since he was in college. The lead singer used to annoy his mom by playing his favorite tape incessantly. Union Station started playing at Hobo, a college club. The band was influenced by Aerosmith.
Union Station plans to spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the group members to pursue other projects. Union Station’s single rose quickly in the charts giving then the national recognition they always wanted. Union Station talked to a music director from X100.9 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Union Station was signed.
Union Station accepted that they were truly working musicians when Pam Greczkowski started the first fan club for the band in 2000. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Jessica Judge created a website for the group and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
