U.S.S.A. was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on Q100.9. The band members were glad once they were signed and quit their odd jobs that had supported them while they worked toward their dreams. The group plays almost every night of the week as the they tour South America.

U.S.S.A. realized that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act after Dorothy Boughton started the first fan club for the band in 1997. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand across the nation.

The new album from U.S.S.A. has taken the band in a surprisingly new direction, with a softer edge. The group may have recently completed their newest project, but they are plotting their next move already.

Critics have often praised U.S.S.A. for their playfulness with the crowd during live shows. Shelbyville music critic Derrick Gremillion has always been impressed with band’s lyrics. U.S.S.A.’s most current album is receiving amazing reviews from Alan Urich, a music critic out of Atlanta, and Van Geanopulos, from San Antonio.
