V100 Big Jam Tickets
Every spring, V100 Big Jam is one Louisville’s most highly anticipated tours. After the city decided it needed a big act to bring tourists in to jump start the local economy the tour was started in 1989. The specifics for V100 Big Jam were developed by Nathan Cochrane, who came up with them while listening to his favorite cassette tape. The tour began as a tiny event, featuring a lot of local acts..
After a few years word spread and V100 Big Jam received some national attention The festival began to get some more established acts to perform, but still included the smaller that had been with the festival since the beginning. Soon the city was blocking off traffic for city blocks on the dates of V100 Big Jam.
Now, V100 Big Jam tickets do not last long, generally selling out months before the actual event. The tour is now so big that just about any band will say yes if asked to play. The organizers of the festival have not forgotten where they’ve come from though, and always ask local artists to play the smaller stages. V100 Big Jam seems to get bigger every year, with more stages and more acts every time around.
This year’s festival promises to be the biggest yet with a stacked bill full of star acts and the best up and comers. TheSeats.com provides the tour schedule and seating charts to concerts, making TheSeats.com the best single site to find your V100 Big Jam tickets.
