Vega 4 started singing in bars. The group used to sell their CDs out of their car at the local record store. Vega 4’s members met in middle school. The drummer used to listen to radio constantly as a kid.

Vega 4's latest release is a refinement of their familiar sound. The band is in the beginning of the tour accompanying for their newest record. Vega 4 will spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the band members to recharge.

Often times, critics have praised Vega 4 for their ability to connect with the crowd at concerts. A music critic from Pittsburgh, Derrick Natalello, has always been impressed with band’s big sound. Vega 4’s latest record is the band’s best record yet, according to the Alan DiSalvatore, a music critic from Dallas.

Vega 4 talked to a DJ from X100.1 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Vega 4 was signed. Vega 4 were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their first recording convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play.

Vega 4 finally realized they made it as soon as the band’s first fan club was started by Breanda Greczkowski in 1998. After playing across the nation, the band’s fan club exploded from the handful of fans around Springfield to thousands in every city throughout the country.
