V.I.C. Tickets
V.I.C.’s members grew up together. The lead singer first found his love of music by listening to his grandfather's music collection. The lead singer use to listen to cassette tapes constantly as a child. V.I.C. began performing at City, a local dive bar. The group used to sell their records out of their truck at the local record store.
V.I.C. were still a little worried after they released their debut release, but were relieved when the release began to get some radio play. V.I.C. talked to a local music director from B97.9 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after V.I.C. was signed.
V.I.C. knew that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true when the band’s first fan club was started by Amy Abbey in 1996. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around Tampa, but the creation the band’s website by Michelle Francoeur, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.
The band is in the start of the tour promoting for their latest album. The latest record from V.I.C. is a refinement of their accepted sound.
Often times, critics have praised V.I.C. for their ability to rile up the crowd at live performances. A music critic from St. Louis, Michael Urich, has always been pleased with band’s amazing sound. V.I.C.’s new release is the band’s best record yet, according to the Harold Wolbert, a music critic from Shelbyville.
V.I.C. realizes that most fans like their past songs, so they use material from past releases and the newest project. The group has an obsession with Anyplace in Omaha and are sure to play a performance every year.
