Warbringer’s members met in high school. The group used to sell their CDs out of their car at school. Warbringer began playing at Beach, a local dive bar. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his sibling.

A member of Warbringer started dating a girl whose brotherwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music. Warbringer’s single climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in smaller bars in which they started.

Warbringer knew that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act after the band’s first fan club was started in 1991 by Jess Isenhower. Initially the group only had a few fans from San Antonio in the club, but after playing from coast to coast the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.

Warbringer plans to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the band members to work on side projects. The band recently completed their new record, but they are already thinking of their next move. The new release is 's first record since the band broke up seven years ago.
