Warrant rocks out whenever they grace the stage. The glam rock band continues to entertain as they rekindle the memories of “Cherry Pie”. Lead singer Jani Lane, guitarists Erik Turner and Joey Allen, bassist Jerry Dixon, and drummer Steve Sweet came together in Los Angels in the ‘80s. Originally Warrant began in 1984 with Turner, Dixon, and three other members, but the utter lack of success forced the group to change its lineup.

The new five brought Warrant and all their fans a great thrill form 1988 to 1992 when they were on the verge of becoming rock gods. The group signed a deal with Columbia Records in 1988 after a near deal with A&M records fell apart. Warrant had been a huge hit in the night clubs of Los Angeles and was ready to sell tickets on a national stage.

The first album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, blasted the glam rock group into the forefront with their melodic rock anthems and power ballads penned by Jani Lane. His songs took the group’s first album to number 10 on the charts and breached the top 20 on the mainstream rock charts with “Heaven”, “Sometimes She Cries”, and “Down Boys”. The tours with other big name glam rock groups sold huge volumes of tickets as the international schedule of the tour brought heir brand of music to millions of fans at concerts.

Warrant would forever be remembered for their next album, Cherry Pie. The title track would take them to new heights, as the album would attain double platinum status. The album’s success launched a headlining tour for Warrant. They went on the “Blood, Sweat, and Beers” tour with support from FireHouse and Trixter on the tickets. After the tour the group prepared their next album, Dog Eat Dog, but the time of glam rock had passed and the group began to alter lineups after they were dropped from Columbia Records.
