Even after getting the record deal We Are Scientists were not sure if they would make it in the end. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music.
We Are Scientists knew that living life as a musician was a actual possibility in 1993, when Susan Ernst started the group’s first fan club. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Charleston. After the band’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
We Are Scientists hope this tour and the newest release attracts a new group of fans. The group may have recently completed their new record, but they are already plotting the next move. We Are Scientists's most current release is a refinement of their familiar sound.
