The members of Xfactor 1 grew up together. The guitarist use to listen to musics constantly as a child. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his mother. Xfactor 1 began playing at the local dive bar Charlatan. The group had their friends harass the local radio station to play their track.

Xfactor 1 were unsure about their music careers with the release of their first recording, and were relieved after their music began climbing the charts ad getting lots of play on the radio. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues in which they started. A member of Xfactor 1 started dating a girl whose siblingwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The group regularly played at Wager before making it to the big time.

Xfactor 1 accepted that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act as soon as the band’s first fan club was started by Deborah Parquette in 1980. Starting out in Washington, D.C. with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the world in under a year.

Xfactor 1's members are expecting to bring in another group of fans with this tour and the newest project. The group recently completed their newest record, but they are already thinking of their next move.

Critics have generally praised Xfactor 1 for their ability to energize the audience during concerts. A music critic from Las Vegas, Henry Moran, has always mentioned group’s incredible stage presence.
