Y&T Tickets
The members of Y&T met in middle school. The lead singer first found his love of music by listening to his dad's collection of records. Y&T started singing at the college club City. The band was influenced by music of the 1950s.
Y&T's latest record is a refinement of their critically-acclaimed sound. The band may have recently completed their most current album, but they are already plotting the next move. Y&T will spend some time apart after the tour, allowing the group members to recharge after a long tour.
Y&T was discovered after single was played on B97.5. The bandspent years before being signed as an opening act. Y&T’s single rose quickly in the charts giving then the national recognition they always wanted. The group continues to play large venues, but still enjoys playing in smaller clubs on occasion.
Y&T realized that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a distinct possibility after the band’s first fan club was started by Michelle Gibson in 1981. After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Shelbyville to the thousands who heard them play all across the country.
The group has a love affair with Washington, D.C. so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring. Y&T appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their latest record as well as the classics. The band’s tour schedule and concert information is outlined on TheSeats.com, along with the latest Y&T tickets and seating charts available.
