Yallapalooza began singing at the local club Twilight. The group used to sell their CDs out of their car at school. Yallapalooza’s members met in middle school. The drummer was encouraged to play by his teacher.

Yallapalooza's new album took over a year to put together. The band is in the start of the accompanying tour for their new release. Members of Yallapalooza are expecting to bring in another group of fans with this tour and the newest release.

Generally, critics commend Yallapalooza for their playfulness with the audience during concerts.
