Yann Martel began playing at the college dive bar Engineer. The drummer used to fall asleep with a CDplaying as a kid. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in grade school. Yann Martel’s members met in grade school. The band used to sell their CDs out of their truck at the local music store.
