Yellow Room Gang’s members met in 1975. The guitarist was influenced by his father's love of music. Yellow Room Gang began singing at Anyplace, a local club. The group was influenced by Ozzy Osborne.

Yellow Room Gang was offered a record contract after playing at at Beach, a local dive bar. The band took any show they could get before they were signed. Yellow Room Gang’s single climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure. Now the group play in plays in sold out arenas across Europe.

accepted that they had made it after the band’s first fan club was started in 1992 by Linda Ullmann. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Liz Oswalt created a website for the band and a national tour gave the group plenty of exposure.

Yellow Room Gang's latest project is the band's first since the group members went to work on independent projects ten years ago. The group just finished their most current album, but they are already plotting the next move. Members of Yellow Room Gang hope to collaborate with other artists while on this tour.
