A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the group. The group members were ecstatic that all the small clubs they had played had paid off.
Young Dubliners finally realized they made it in 1999, as soon as Debra Tettleton started the group’s first fan club. Initially the band only had a few fans from Austin in the club, but after playing country wide the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.
