Z100 Jingle Ball’s members met in 1979. The lead singer first found his love of music by listening to his uncle's collection of records. Z100 Jingle Ball began playing at the college club Cafeteria. The band was influenced by music of the '50s.

A member of Z100 Jingle Ball started dating a girl whose unclewas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The group's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time.

Z100 Jingle Ball accepted that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act in 1976, as soon as the group's first fan club was started by Debra Dunn. The group embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the band’s own website by Liz Bierlein and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.

Members of Z100 Jingle Ball hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever. The group is in the first leg of the tour accompanying for their most current record. Z100 Jingle Ball's most current release is a refinement of their well-established sound.
