Zebra’s members were friends in grade school. The bassist used to listen to his family's cassette tape constantly as a kid. The guitarist use to listen to musics constantly as a kid. Zebra started playing at Diva, a local dive bar. The band used to sell their records out of their truck at the local record store.

The most current project from Zebra has taken the band in a incredibly different direction, going back to basics. The group just finished their new release, and they are thinking of what is to come next. Zebra will take a break after this next tour, allowing the band members to rest after a long year.

Zebra’s first release climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure. The band regularly played at City before making it to the big time.

accepted that they had made it after the group’s first fan club was started in 1988 by Debra Klinger. The band embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the group’s own website by Kimberly Boughton and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.

Zebra is able to please the audience every show by playing previous hits and songs from their new record. The band has never played a bad show in San Antonio, so they make sure to schedule a stop there whenever they tour.
