A member of Zombie Girl started dating a girl whose familywas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller venues in which they started.
Zombie Girl knew they had finally made it in 1987, when Maria Yavorsky started the group’s first fan club. Initially the group only had a few fans from Washington, D.C. in the club, but after playing from New York to California the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.
The band recently completed their new release, and they are already thinking of their next move. Zombie Girl's newest album took four months to produce.
