Zombies started singing at Madness, a college dive bar. The group used to sell their CDs out of their van in the school parking lot. Zombies began playing together in 1999. The bassist was influenced by his dad's love of music.

Zombies met with a local DJ from Z89.5 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group is on the road all the time now promoting their album before sold out audiences.

Zombies plans to spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the band members to work on other projects. The band just completed their most current album, and they are already planning their next move. Zombies's latest release took four months to produce.
