The members of Zoroaster were friends in grade school. The group used to practice at the lead singer's basement. Zoroaster began performing at Cafeteria, a college dive bar. The lead singer wanted to start a band since he was in grade school.
Zoroaster was discovered while putting on a show at at Assistant, local bar. The group regularly played at Anyplace before making it to the big time. Zoroaster always wanted to hear themselves at the top of the charts and they got their wish with the release of their first single.
Zoroaster knew that living life as a musician was a actual possibility in 1996, as soon as Margie Boughton started the group’s first fan club. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Los Angeles. After the group’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
Zoroaster plans to spend some time apart after the tour, to allow the group members to recharge after a long tour. The band recently completed their most current release, but they are already planning their next move. Zoroaster's latest record is the band's first release since the band broke up seven years ago.
