Zoso began playing together in 1977. The drummer was encouraged to play by his grandfather. Zoso began singing at the local bar Cafeteria. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck at local shows.

The new project is 's first project since the band broke up two years ago. The group is in the first leg of the accompanying tour for their latest album. Zoso plans to take a break after the tour, allowing the group members to pursue individual projects.

Even after getting the record deal Zoso were not sure if they would make it in the end. Zoso was offered a record contract after their single was heard on K94.1.
