Kansas City Royals Tickets
The Kansas City Royals ended the 2009 MLB season in a tie for last place in the AL Central. In 2010, the baseball team will need a great deal of help if they are to finish any higher. Kansas City Royals tickets for this next season will be available to watch perpetual Cy Young candidate Zach Greinke take the mound at Kauffman Stadium.
The rest of the rotation is questionable at best. Gil Meche, Luke Hochevar, Kyle Davies, and Brian Bannister are not much more than a collection of four and five starters. The good news is that the Royals have a great closer as well. Joakim Soria saved 30 of 33 save opportunities.
Kansas City added Scott Podsednik in left field, Rick Ankiel in center, and Jason Kendall at catcher. These players are beyond their prime, but they have enough talent to make a difference. Ankiel and 1B Billy Butler are the two sources of power on this squad. Jose Guillen could join those two.
The Royals have replaced Teahen with Alec Gordon. Gordon spent 2009 on the bench after the two so-so years covering third full time. David DeJesus is starting in right field, Yuniesky Betancourt is starting at shortstop, and Alberto Callaspo is starting second. Kansas City should have an interesting season to say the least.
