The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to enjoy their time at the Ford Center. This may be the most appreciated team in the league. The fans are happy to have a professional sports franchise in town. They are especially happy to have a sports franchise in town that has built such a solid team through the draft. The Thunder are 20-16 overall, 10-8 at home, and 10-8 on the road. Thunder tickets are a great chance to see a great young team in the season it appears they are going to make their first postseason breakthrough.

The team is led by Kevin Durant. The small forward is all legs and arms and a beast. He is scoring 28.7 points per game with 7 rebounds and 1.44 steals a game. He is one of the best young players in the league. He is surrounded with talented young players like Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden. Together, these four players round out the top four scorers on the team.

As a team the Thunder average 98.4 points a game and allow 96.3. It is odd that such a young team could be so effective defensively, but apparently Coach Scott Brooks has gotten through to the kids.

Durant is the leading rebounder on the team, which is not the best stat for the Thunder. His 7 a game are not that much but despite not having a truly dominant rebounding frontcourt player, the team is out rebounding opponents 43 to 41.1. The season is long and young teams have a tendency to break down so it will be a challenge for this Oklahoma City Thunder team to make the playoffs for the first time since moving from Seattle.
