Los Angeles Rams Tickets

St. Louis Rams tickets are on sale to witness the ascension of Sam Bradford to the rank of the best quarterback in the NFC West. The Rams schedule has been a tough one for fans to watch so far but the 2011 NFL season is far from over and this football team has the talent to compete. TheSeats has the Ram tickets to watch as Bradford once again takes the field at Edward Jones Dome and St. Louis celebrates its share of wins.

St. Louis Rams Tickets for Sale

The Rams are better than the one-win team two seasons ago and the seven-win teams last season. Yet, this season the Rams schedule has been a difficult one to endure for fans at Edward Jones Dome. Not only is the football team winless, but Bradford is walking around in a boot. Bradford is suffering a high-ankle sprain, but should be back soon.

His season has been less than what those with Rams tickets for the 2011 NFL season had been hoping. Bradford has been in a sophomore slump, with a 72.2 QB Rating thanks to a 53.1 completion percentage and just three touchdowns to two interceptions. The addition of Brandon Lloyd to the receiving group is welcome. Lloyd caught six passes for 74 yards, including a big gainer.

The Rams used to be able to count on Stephen Jackson to carry an unreasonable load in the backfield. It appears he is beginning to feel his age because he has failed to surpass 100 yards in five games and has just two touchdowns in 59 rushing attempts. St. Louis has sadly few standouts on defense. Chris Long only has three sacks and the team has as a whole cannot stop the run.

St. Louis Rams History

Playing since 1936, the St. Louis Rams football franchise has known limited success. The Cleveland Rams won the NFL Championship in 1945, the Los Angeles Rams won the NFL Championship in 1951, and the St. Louis Rams won the Super Bowl in 1999. Add six conference championships, 15 division titles, and 27 total playoff appearances and the Rams have been the NFL's whipping boy for far too long.

The first championship came in 1945 with rookie quarterback Bob Waterford as the league MVP on a 9-1 team. The second came in 1951 when Norm Can Brocklin took over as starting quarterback and he forged an undeniable chemistry with the Hall of Fame wide receiver duo of Elroy Hirsch and Tom Fears. This prolific, wide open offense led to an 8-4 record and a trip to the championship to play the Cleveland Browns. The Rams defeated the Browns 24-17.

Decades later, the Rams won the franchise's only Super Bowl with another wide open offensive strategy. The greatest show on turf starred quarterback Kurt Warner, running back Marshall Faulk, wide receiver Isaac Bruce and wide receiver Torry Holt in Mike Martz's prolific offense that ran counter to the league-wide emphasis on defense and minimizing turnovers. The Rams have been trying to recreate the dangerous offense ever since, searching for the right quarterback and receivers since 2006.
