Anaheim Ducks Tickets
Based in Anaheim, California the Anaheim Ducks tickets were originally founded in 1993. They are a professional ice hockey team who are members of both the Western Conference and the NHL (National Hockey League). The home games of the Anaheim Ducks tickets are played in the spacious and large Honda Center.
The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim as they were called when they were first founded by Walt Disney in 1993 were named after the 1992 film ‘The mighty ducks’. Later Walt Disney sold their franchise in 2005 to Henry & Susan Samueli who then later changed the team’s name to Anaheim Ducks tickets before the season of 2006-07. During their fifteen years of playing the Anaheim Ducks have made their playoffs almost seven times and won the Pacific Division title in 2007, and prior to that the Anaheim Ducks won two Western Conference Championships in 2003 and then later in 2007. They also have won the Stanley Cup Championship in 2007.
The Anaheim Ducks tickets were a fairly successful team to begin with except for a few bumps here and there they managed to pull out big wins during the early stages of the team formation. However the Anaheim Ducks tickets were not able to reach their postseason until they played the 2002-03 NHL season. It was like a classic Cinderella run for the Anaheim Ducks tickets right up to the Stanley Cup Finals. They later beat the defending champions of that time the Red Wings. It was like a sweep for the Anaheim Ducks as they beat the Dallas Stars in six games and later the Minnesota Wild in a clean sweep and Jean-Sebastien Giguere only let one goal though.
This Cinderella run for the Anaheim Ducks tickets however was cut short as they managed to loose games they fought hard for i.e. they lost game 7 of the season to the Devils 3-0. Its also interesting to note that the home team won every game. Giguere got the Conn Smythe Trophy for his excellent play during the post season. He was awarded as the most valuable player during the playoffs. Giguere became the fifth player and fourth goaltender in the history of the NHL to get the trophy even though he was a member of the losing team. His amazing 15-6 record , 7-0 in overtime and a 1.62 GAA was something that every one appreciated. He was really a very valuable member of the Anaheim Ducks.
One of the interesting matches you need to watch out during the 2009-10 season is the match between the Anaheim Ducks tickets and the New York Rangers. This match is scheduled to be held on the 11th of October. It will be very interesting to see just what the Anaheim Ducks tickets have in their arsenal.
Later on the 21th of October it’s the Dallas Starts that the team is going to go up against. They have beaten the Dallas Stars before but the latest line up of players in the Stars team could give the Ducks a run for their money.
