Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Tickets

Ringling Bros and Barnum Bailey Circus TicketsRingling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus are two of the biggest name in the big top. For quite a long time these shows, Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey ran as separate troupes, but now Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus tickets are one and the same. This show continues to prove that the only name in the circus game is not Cirque du Soleil. This is proof positive the American product is just as good as the Canadian.

Initially, the circuses of James Anthony Bailey and P.T. Barnum and the Ringling Brothers were competitors. It took a decade, but by 1919 they had merged and became the Greatest Show on Earth. Over the course of the next four decades all the railroads had been built and the population had begun to spread out as the highway system expanded. Thus, the circus moved from tents to sports and concert venues.

Times have continued to change and now the circus is competing with radio, television, movies, and the Internet. Yet, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus continue to find an audience throughout the United States. They still maintain the classic red and blue railroad system that they have been operating since 1969 and have added a gold line as of 2004. These multi-colored shows are different shows and they give ringmasters Johnathan Lee Iverson, Brian Crawford Scott, and Jorge Escribano Pelaez a chance to shine, along with the many acts.

The troupes have kept up with the times. Ringling Bros tickets still feature the aerialists, clowns, and animal trainers of years of old. But, now they have added martial artists, stunt men and women on bikes, and much more. These are circus acts from around the world and they are arriving in a town near you. They do not quite have the same appeal of a Cirque du Soleil show. Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey simply try and amaze the audience with incredible feats of strength and agility without nearly as much makeup. This is a true big top experience, even if the tent has been replaced by a stadiums built for basketball, hockey, and concerts.
