A little more than a decade PGA had been denigrated as the Professional Geriatric Association, but now, thanks in large part of an influx of younger golfers like Tiger Woods, it is proudly proclaimed the Professional Golfer Association. This golf organization reaches across the ponds to Europe and Asia and has sponsors hundreds of tournaments. PGA tickets are most popular with the PGA championship schedule that runs from January to September for competitive moneyed tournaments and charity tourneys to close out the season in November. The biggest tournaments are the World Golf Championship series, the Masters, the U.S. Open Golf Championship, the Players Championship, the Open Championship, and the PGA Championship.
