Auburn Tigers Tickets
The athletics team of the Auburn University is known as the Auburn Tigers and is a member of the Southeastern Conference. It competes in the NCAA Division I tournaments and is located at the Auburn University campus at Auburn, Alabama. The Auburn Tiger football team competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Since the inaugural season, the Tigers have had 77 winning seasons, 34 bowl appearances, twenty-four 9+-win seasons, 11 undefeated seasons and 10 conference championships. They also play in the Southeastern Conference since the beginning of SEC in 1933 and have also won 6 SEC championships.
Tommy Tuberville, born on September 18th, 1954 is the current head coach for the Auburn Tigers football team. Under his able leadership, the Tigers have been able to defeat in-state rivals the University of Alabama six consecutive times. In the year 2004, Tuberville was awarded the Walter Camp and Paul Bryant Coach of the Year for the Tigers' undefeated 13-0 perfect season.
Jordan-Hare Stadium is the home to the Auburn Tigers Football Team and is located on the campus of Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama. The stadium has a seating capacity of 87,451 fans and is considered as the tenth largest on-campus stadium in the NCAA. The first game at the Jordan-Hare Stadium was played between Auburn High School and Dadeville High School on November 9th, 1939. At that time the stadium was known as the Auburn Stadium.
