Cirque du Soleil - Corteo Tickets
Corteo, means "cortege" in Italian, which, in this case, refers to a parade imagined by a clown, or joyous procession. The story behind Corteo is that a clown is imagining this fabulous parade. The parade is bookended with a funeral overseen by angels, and, at the end, a man riding off into the sky on a bicycle. The show also plays with opposites failure and success and big and small. The show is very funny and interesting. According to Cirque du Soleil, Corteo highlights the strength and fragility of the clown, as well as his wisdom and kindness, to illustrate the portion of humanity that is within each of us. The music is lyrical and playful, which carries Corteo through a timeless celebration in which illusion teases reality.
The Cirque du Soleil company travels on tour with its own stage, seating and equipment. The tent-style theatre is called the Grand Chapiteau. There is a delightful solo act with a man and a short ladder which he climbes up and down and balances on top of it. Also there is another series of gymnasts and all that is surrounded by the singing and live music performed by the company. There is a large human rings, jugglers, amale acrobats tossing the women and all of that again is followed by the special musical performance.
