Ovo is the 25th Cirque du Soleil in the circus troupe’s 25 years in existence. Ovo tickets take the audience to the bottom of the rain forest floor in a little ecosystem ruled by insects. Created by famed choreographer and director Deborah Colker, this bright and colorful production celebrates the process of self-realization among these amazing creatures.

Colker is the first woman to have created a show for Cirque du Soleil, perhaps breaking the last overlooked barrier for the Montreal performance troupe. Colker previously earned a Lawrence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance. Ovo is a classic Colker creation, utilizing Brazilian music and dance. In Ovo (a Portuguese word that means egg) this music and dance is overlaid on ambient insect sounds to consume the imagination and take the audience to the rain forest.
