We Will Rock You

We Will Rock You is a jukebox musical, based on the songs of Queen and named after their hit single of the same name, it’s written by Ben Elton, English comedian and author, in collaboration with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor and produced by David and Ed Mirvish and The Kimsa Group, in association with Queen Theatrical Productions, Phil McIntyre Entertainment and Tribeca Theatrical Productions, with Christopher Renshaw as director. On May 12, 2002 at the Dominion Theatre in London, England opened the original production of the musical and on August 17, 2005 it became the longest running musical at that venue. Mazz Murray is the longest-serving principal cast member of the London production.
