Originally known as The Cafeteria, the club changed its name to Broome County Forum when Norris Wilmouth took over ownership in the '70s. The owner had always wished to own a bar similar to his favorite hangout when he was in his 20s and lived in Miami. Broome County Forum eventually became the most welcoming neighborhood bar in the city to listen to concerts and enjoy a drink.
