Originally a barber shop, Mulcahys was changed into a club by Harold McCarther in the '90s. The owner used his favorite bar while he was a student at at the University of Cincinnati as the inspiration for the design of the bar he operates now. Mulcahys has always been one of the most pleasant dive clubs in town to listen to shows or relax with a nightcap.
